Collections work at Malahide Castle and Newbridge House
I’ve been working wih the curatorial and collections team at both Malahide Castle and Newbridge House. two historic country houses in north county Dublin. Across several months, I’ve catalogued 1,600+ volumes in Malahide Castle’s library and assisted in the selection of volumes to be added, removed and/or further researched. I have conducted research on individual items at both sites and augmented/updated/corrected collection databases. Other duties include moving furniture, hanging paintings, labelling and boxing items across both sites. (Curator of Malahide Castle and Newbridge House: Cathal Dowd Smith)
